At Patricia Holohan & Company, we have garnered considerable experience in Refugee & Asylum law/ International Protection law.

We guide clients through the International Protection application process from the initial application stage right until the end of their journey through the international protection process.

We meet our clients as soon as they are referred to us. This way, we get to hear their story and answer any questions that they might have on the process. We like to know that they are fully informed and at ease with the process. We also like to ensure that they are also fully prepared for their interview with the International Protection Office.

Should our clients be unsuccessful in their application, we represent them in their Appeal against their negative decision. Patricia and the team are highly experienced in representing appellants for international protection. We assess the negative decision, and provide the reasoning behind it to you in language that you can understand. We engage with you to ensure that your Appeal form and grounds of appeal are completed correctly and accurately and that you fully understand the Appeals process. Patricia represents her clients at their oral hearing and where she is unavailable to attend, she will instruct highly experienced Human Rights barristers to represent you on her behalf.

If you are unsuccessful with your Appeal, Patricia will assist you in renewing your application for Permission to Remain. The firm will provide you with guidance in completing all relevant applications.

We correspond with the International Protection Office and the International Protection Appeals Tribunal on behalf of our clients, ensuring that all documentation supporting their application/appeal is sent in the correct format.

We have invaluable expertise in judicial review proceedings to the High Court and are happy to advise in cases where such proceedings may be warranted.
